What I provide
ENSURE YOUR BIG DAY IS STRESS-FREE
My professional services as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant to officiate at your wedding ceremony
Preparation and lodgement of your Notice of Intended Marriage, including sighting of related documents to validate eligibility for marriage and all other paperwork with Births Deaths and Marriages NSW
2 – 3 meetings with you prior to the wedding day
Discussions and advice regarding venue, staging and choreography for ceremony
A rehearsal at the venue preferably (Sydney metro) or at home when necessary
Unlimited contact and timely response to emails/phone calls for all communication, questions and concerns regarding the ceremony
Provision of a Marriage Resources Kit which includes guidance on ceremony structure and compulsory legal inclusions, overview and guidance for the legal process, ideas for rituals and symbolism, suggested formats and examples of wording, resources for readings, poetry and music
A unique, carefully researched written ceremony especially for you reflecting your needs, personalities and wishes
A warm, friendly and engaging presentation style, delivering your ceremony in a meaningful and memorable way
Provision of a portable cordless PA system which can also play music, if required, to ensure all guests can hear your ceremony.
Table and chairs for Signing of the Register (if venue does not provide)
Lodgement of your application for your official marriage certificate (value $56) from Births Deaths and Marriages NSW
A commemorative marriage certificate in a presentation envelope
Printed copy of your ceremony as a memento
BONUS!
For a small, intimate ceremony of up to 10 to 12 people including the Bridal party, I also offer my beautiful garden overlooking the bush or my elegant lounge room in leafy Turramurra at no extra cost.
The fine print
to be legally married in Australia YOU NEED TO:
Not be married to anyone else
Not be marrying a parent, brother, sister, grandparent, child or grandchild
Be at least 18 years old unless a court has approved a marriage where one party is aged between 16 – 18 years of age.
Understand what marriage means and freely consent to marrying
Use specific words as part of the ceremony – I will advise you of these
Give written Notice of Intention to Marry (NOIM) to an authorised marriage celebrant (between 1 and 18months prior to wedding)
